My heart hurts,

As I see the last rites being performed

Unable to believe that you’re gone.

I don’t have any tears in my eyes

For I refuse to believe that you’re no more,

Gone, Far away from me, into a world unknown.

You were the best I ever had,

You were my personal Sun,

Shining bright on the dark cloudy days.

Your smile would make my day,

But now, my own smile has faded.

Faded, the day you left me,

Alone to face the world.

They ask me to have faith in Him,

For what he does, is best for all.

But how do I believe,

When I know, my world is empty,

Without you.

You were my happiness, you were my world

And gone with you is my life.
